A hike in the mountains was meant to be a harmless escape, a brief vacation from the expectations waiting at home. But the ruins of a fireplace stopped me in my tracks, and the mountain drew me in, urging me to return, an invitation I couldn’t refuse. After one step too far, I was trapped in a world that mirrored Earth, and on the other side, a man waited – a warlock.

When ancient magic and dark truths began to surface, the warlock offered protection. He never punished my fear. And the longer I stayed, the more the world itself seemed to recognize something I didn’t.

The warlock called it Earthbend.
